Before Dawn
By Naledi Setzin
Before Dawn
It is four in the morning,
My mind is boring,
Finding difficultly to sleep,
While the traffic cars beep,
The insomnia keeps getting worse,
And my concerns have now disperse,
Longing for a decent night’s rest,
But battling to achieve it at my very best,
Cuddled up into a little ball.
This comforts me and makes me feel better after all,
Checking the time,
My body treats sleeping like a crime,
Soon the clock strikes five,
Still awake and alive.,
However, nothing has changed.
My Sleep patterns are strange.
