Doggy's Dog
By Naledi Setzin
A doggy's day
A doggy’s day,
Is nothing crazy,
It start bright and early,
Right at eight thirty,
The doggy wakes up out of bed ,
And goes directly to its bowl to get feed,
After a large yawn,
this doggy walks to the lawn,
stretches from side to side ,
casually sunbathing being quite satisfied,
The doggy rest while ,
Waiting for their owner to walk them on a mile,
A few hours past by ,
Finally hitting mid-day time,
The doggy goes on a walk,
As the owner picks up the phone and talks,
The journey is exciting ,
lots of new plants in sighting ,
After one round,
The owner sits on a rock on the ground,
The doggy panting out loud ,
Looking above staring at the clouds
This doggy was proud of the distance it covered,
And all the knew insects it had discovered,
As they walk back slowly ,
The doggy is happy to go back home,
Tired from the day,
The doggy takes an afternoon nap to gain it energy back again.
